Mohawk Group has introduced the Fractal Findings collection, a groundbreaking range of carpet tiles inspired by the intricate patterns found in nature.
Found in everything from snowflakes to coastlines, Fractals are repeating patterns that occur throughout our natural world. Human beings are fluent at perceiving fractals in nature and receiving their benefits. In collaboration with 13&9 Design and Dr. Richard Taylor of Fractals Research, Mohawk Group has harnessed the power of fractal design to create spaces that promote well-being and productivity. Dr. Taylor’s research has shown that fractal patterns can significantly reduce stress and improve cognitive function.
By incorporating mid-D value fractal patterns into the Fractal Findings collection, Mohawk Group has created a collection that promotes relaxation, reduces stress, and enhances overall well-being.
The Fractal Findings collection offers a range of neutral base colours and vibrant accent colours, allowing for customisation and personalisation. The collection features two captivating 24” X 24” carpet tile styles:
Mohawk Group’s Fractal Findings collection is not only beautiful but also sustainable. It is Living Product Challenge Petal Certified, ensuring a positive impact on the environment. The carpet tiles are made with ColorStrand® solution-dyed nylon fibre and EcoFlex™ Matrix backing, minimising environmental impact.
“Science has shown us the power of fractal patterns to reduce stress and promote well-being,” said Jackie Dettmar, vice president of product, design, and marketing at Mohawk Group. “With Fractal Findings, we’re bringing this knowledge to life in a tangible way, creating spaces that are not only beautiful but also beneficial for people who use them.”
